NOTES
Ian Brown’s “Stalag 18A” website quotes Norman Lay as being Company Leader 1/877. Not sure what this means, for although he was elected ‘Man of Confidence’ for Work Party 194/GW at Leoben he was never in a Work Party 877 (indeed none such seems to have existed). STORY We are pleased to share with you the (limited) information about Norman Lay we have in our Archive. This is based on his POW questionnaire. Please click on the heading/link below which will take you to a PDF file. Please note we are sharing the contents of our Archive in good faith and in the spirit of the veterans asking us to “Tell Them We Were Here”. The copyright rests with the original authors (as credited), the families and/or The Brotherhood of Greek Veterans. Please contact us at greekveterans@gmail.com if you have any issues or concerns.
