NOTES
Along with Eddie Myers, Chris Woodhouse and a select band of saboteurs, Captain Denys Hamson took part in Operation Harling (to demolish the Gorgopotomas railway viaduct north of the Brallos Pass) and wrote about his experience in his book “We Fell Among Greeks”. He describes very well the difficulty he encountered in getting different Greek resistance groups (principally ELAS and EDES) to work together. Operation Harling was the first and only time the groups worked well together STORY We are pleased to share with you the story of Denys Hamson from the information we have in our Archive.
